The PS-1652T, 52-Inch x 16 Gauge Pneumatic Shear from JET® cuts through various metals and plastic effortlessly. This Jet shear consumes 25.3 cubic feet of air per minute, and can make up to 44 strokes in that time. The equipment powers through mild steel up to 16-gauge thickness. Its cutting power increases to 14- or 12-gauge for softer metals, such as aluminum- or copper-based alloys. The Jet pneumatic shear has a strong cast iron frame that holds up to regular use and helps to reduce deflection for more precise results. Its beam and bed are aligned to give you precision results. A low cutting angle helps to prevent the material from twisting. At just 24 by 60 inches, it’s compact enough to fit into most workshops. You can adjust the bed to make the correct stroke each time.
