The Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless rotary hammer kit contains a dust extractor attachment with HEPA filter, two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery, a dust case with HEPA filter cleaning mechanism, a 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion rapid optimum charger, three HEPA filter, side handle, depth gauge and a tool bag. This 1 Inch rotary hammer tool has Makita BL™ brushless motor technology with concrete dust extraction without the cord. Powerful and efficient BL™ brushless motor delivers 0 to 950 RPM, 0 to 4700 BPM and 1.7 ft-lb of impact energy for most demanding applications. The on-board dust extractor attachment effectively captures concrete dust during drilling and is activated by the tool for operator convenience. Extractor is powered by a separate motor to maintain drilling performance and offer a 2-second delay for capturing remaining dust. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery’s built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. Efficient HEPA filtration system aids to capture 99.97% of particulates 0.3 microns and larger. Transparent dust container gives required visibility in order to empty the dust box.
