17″ Drill Press
Position the JET® 17-Inch Drill Press on a workshop floor and get a powerful stationary, free standing hole-boring drill with a keyless chuck capacity of 5/8 inch. The drill press operates with a 3/4 hp, 1-phase TEFC motor that provides a variable-speed range of 210 to 3500 rpm. You can set the Jet 17-inch drill press at 16 different speeds for specific projects and materials. Dual poly V-belts on the drill press drive bits smoothly and accurately through the densest material. The Jet drill press has a large, machined-engineered cast-iron work table, 14 x 19 inches, with a 90-degree tilt capacity. The drill spindle of the press moves a full 5 inches in length with one revolution of the 3-arm handle, and an adjustment guide ensures precise depth measurements, with a depth stop for repeat drills. An LED work light on the Jet stationary drill press provides ample task-specific lighting.
