15HH 15″ Planer Helical Cutter Head
The 15HH Planer, 3HP 1Ph 230V, from Powermatic, helps to make your boards smoother and more professional-looking. It has a powerful 3hp motor that runs the cutterhead at up to 4,500 rpm to get the job done quickly. The helical cutterhead planer utilizes 74 knife inserts for quieter operation and a softer finish. The serrated infeed roller grabs the board and pushes it forward, while the smooth outfeed roller is safe to use without marring the wood. A maximum cutting depth of 1/8 inch makes the Powermatic planer capable of smoothing out noticeably bowed pieces. The variable-speed design lets you work at a comfortable pace.
