Use the Makita® 14-Inch 73 cc Power Cutter at demo, cleanup and renovation sites to cut through or shape concrete foundations and curbs, brick and mortar walls or steel bar and plate with little effort. The two-cycle gas-powered cutter has a 4.6 cubic inch engine putting out 5.1 hp at a max of 9,350 rpm. The Makita 14-inch 73 cc power cutter is fuel-efficient, with a scavenging-loss rejection muffler that recycles unburned fuel vapor from exhaust discharge. The cutter also has immediate start-up capability, with a carburetor decompression valve that prevents flooding and an ignition coil that discharges stored electrical energy. The carburetor of the Makita power cutter tool contains a microchip that syncs engine timing with load under power. A five-stage air-filter system enhances engine performance to keep the 14-inch cutter blade running efficiently. The Makita handheld power cutter has both a center-cutting position for perpendicular cuts and an outboard-cutting position for lateral, flush cuts. Shock-absorbing rubber bumpers and a dual-mass dampening system minimize operating vibration, with cushioned operator grips for additional handling comfort.
