This Makita 36 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion rotary hammer kit contains a 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion dual port charger, two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery, side handle, depth gauge and a 20 Inch contractor tool bag. The 1 Inch cordless hammer has an efficient Makita built motor that delivers 0 to 1250 RPM, 0 to 5000 BPM and 2.2 ft-lb of impact energy. Tool is jam packed with ease-of-use and efficiency features like 3-mode operation that is rotation only, hammering with rotation and hammer only for multiple applications. The torque limiting clutch of tool is specially designed to minimize gear damage by automatically disengaging gears, if the bit binds. Tool comes with two 18 Volt LXT® batteries to deliver the power and run time for corded demands without leaving the 18 Volt LXT® platform. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery’s built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. Tool is fitted with ergonomic soft-grip handle and large 2-finger trigger for added comfort. The SDS-PLUS shank rotates 360 degree with 40 different positions for enhanced performance. Rotary hammer has LED battery indicator, which shows charge level of battery.
