This Makita 36 Volt LXT® 1-9/16 Inch rotary hammer is a cordless concrete solution and is loaded with advanced engineering for superior efficiency. Rotary hammer is designed with Advanced Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®), a synchronized three-component system for significantly minimal vibration. Three-component system includes an internal counterbalance, which makes use of air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston to minimize vibration. Tool has powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver 250 to 500 RPM, 1450 to 2900 BPM and 8.4 ft-lb of impact energy for demanding applications. The Auto-start Wireless System (AWS®) uses Bluetooth® technology for wireless power On/Off communication between tool and dust extractor. Rotary hammer has variable speed control dial, which facilitates user to match the speed to the application for versatility. Flush mount 2-mode hammer selector allows user for work in “chipping only” or “hammering with rotation” modes. Tool with SDS-Max bits is great for masons, concrete/demolition contractors, plumbers, electricians and general contractors. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Tool comes with built-in LED light with an independent On/Off switch to illuminate the work area.
